They still haven't plowed our street, and we're surrounded on all sides by 5-6ft snow dunes. When I went out to try to shovel out our car, the snow came up to my waist. Wow! I measured 30 inches at the most level part.
I'm very grateful to have heat and electricity, but boy am I overwhelmed by the amount of effort it's going to take to dig to freedom. Supposedly it hasn't been this bad in CT since Feb. 1978...not that I'd know, because I hadn't been born yet!

I think we got three feet of snow! This isn't my first blizzard but I've never seen anything like this, LOL.
