I just found out that Hirotaka Suzuoki, who played Hyuga-kun in the original Captain Tsubasa TV series, passed away from lung cancer last Sunday at age 56. This is terrible news. 56 is too young to die. He was my favorite Hyuga! He had a huge career but I'll always remember him as the world's deepest-voiced twelve year old. Farewell...;_; I never thought I'd have to use my Hyuga-kun icon for an occasion like this.

It crushes my hopes that he'll swing in on a vine and take up the role again. Even if it weren't for Hyuga-kun I would still be sad because death is always a tragedy and it's not like there are any good voice actors moving in from the younger generation. =_=
