Among other things. I marathon-rooted this SH-06 head last night and my fingers are still quite sore. Moving right along...

I need to make this boy some clothes. But in the interest of keeping sane I'd better finish the sweater I'm knitting for Maya before I start any new projects. I have a bad habit of picking things up and leaving them unfinished. I should have made a New Year's resolution to take care of that, but I forgot. ^_^;....

When was the last time I wrote in this thing anyway? 6_6 Beseiged was on TV again this week. I seem to find David Thewlis cuter every time I see him, but his upper-class English accent is as bad as his cockney! O_O That poor man is allergic to accents. I had a dream a while ago that the third Harry Potter movie came out and miraculously everyone loved his portrayal of Professor Lupin, but he was faking this bizarre French accent instead of using his normal speaking voice. Then I cried.

I have some more 1/6 heads to work on, uh huh. I actually have more bodies than hair for once. I could use some rooting hair but NO MORE SPENDING! For a long time. But I'd like to do a doll with blue-white mesh hair when I can afford it.

Um, sorry if I've already posted something similar to this before (I'm kind of out of it right now), but may I share some of my rooting hair with you? I have more hair than I know what to do with (plus more heads than bodies. again. I wish HLJ sold male Volks bodies, since those seem to be the ones I use most) and would be happy to send some your way.

I currently have a few different colors of blue, plus I *think* I have some of RestoreDoll.com's white saran hair. I can post pictures of what I have if you're interested. :)

Thank you for the kind offer ^_^! I'd like to take you up on it, but I think I'm going to have to wait until I finish the two heads I'm working on now, because I'm helping my sister with her commissions and I probably shouldn't distract myself! ^o^

HLJ used to carry male bodies, when they first came out. They sold out pretty quickly, though! I always want to make boy dolls, so it's a pain for me, too. If they carried the blank heads that would be so cool...I love the SH-06 head but I always have to go to great lengths to get them.

(Sorry if this is old news, I tend to be a little behind on the latest stuff!)

I just looked at Volks's Online shop, and apparently their new soft-bust EB Beauty dolls come with the SH06 head by default! Maybe this will make it easier to come by that head?
