leene_chan | Damn Deserts.O

I just finished a very unfun part of TOP. I had to wander around the desert continent hunting Basilisks for their scales in order to entice Ancestor of Morrison into meeting with me and helping me to repair the broken ring I need to make a contract with Luna. :P What is it with RPGs and wandering around in the desert? It wouldn't have been so bad it the Basilisks showed up more than like once every ten battles! UGH! I gathered six scales in all and managed to level up some of Cless's special attacks. There were some funny screen chats in the desert! I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when Klarth starting summoning Elementals in an attempt to cool off the party. ^o^ It took me by surprise when his face portrait zoomed in close and he yelled "UNDINE!" At first I didn't know what the hell he was doing! O_o Not to mention the fact that Mint was acting like she was "hot" in a different way...heh heh heh....o_o

I totally love the music it plays when you fight the Elementals, that "Fighting of the Spirit." It sounds like Wood Man's music! I have fond memories of getting my tail beaten by Maxwell to that music until I decided to screw the FAQ and kick his ass like only I knew how. n_n I remember hearing it in Tales of Symphonia and thinking "Damn, this music is uncharacteristically sweet compared to the rest of this game's soundtrack!" I should have known it was ripped off from TOP. =_=

I am knitting a scarf with dark pink and light green fuzzy yarn together. Mom saw me working on it and said "Oh, that would be good for Christmas," and I was like "Damn, I wanted it to look like a strawberry!"
