Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria comes out in a few weeks! I'm excited but I'm also kind of nervous. I loved the original game but without a FAQ it wasn't the most accessible in the world. Well, they said Silmeria doesn't have multiple endings....

So I'm continuing to mess around with Nocturne.

In Japanese it's easier to understand than Suikoden V. Much easier than Avatar Tuner....I had played Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner for about forty hours before I set it aside. I've been playing Nocturne for twenty hours and I think it's a much better game in terms of atmosphere, art design, music and well, just about everything else. I just cleared the Nihilo base and I'm at level 34. I kept Amaterasu, replaced Sakahagi with Mothman (loaded with Maha-dyne spells) and sold all my worldly goods to buy Kristen's level 99 super-powered Futomimi. He cost 100,000 makka. =_= I now have the most beautiful party ever!

I fought Dante for the first time outside the Mantra headquarters. I had Amaterasu cast Tetrakarn every round. Even though it didn't do much damage I thoroughly enjoyed seeing that bastard shoot himself again and again. Dante, you suck. Get out of this game already!

I think all the human characters in this game are horrible people. At this point I hate Yuko the most but that could be subject to change. The Manekata are cute but they all look like they're wearing rubber masks. I haven't officially met Futomimi (I saw him in snippets when Kristen played and decided I had to have him) but I guess he's their finest specimen. Sakahagi is nasty! I've seen enough of his nether regions to last me a lifetime by watching him cast spells in battle. O_o
