My Head Itches.
Aug. 8th, 2006 08:22 pmI tried using a straightening iron on my hair today. I think it's ridiculous that I've managed to learn how to cook, paint and root dolls and knit and I still can't handle this mop of mine. I guess I made it a little less unruly but my hair is too thick and hard to work with. =_= I don't want to look like a bum forever. Gragh! XD
I've been enjoying myself watching my twenty-year-old soccer anime. Still, the fast-forward button is my friend! I'm getting so annoyed watching Tsubasa collapse for the umpteenth time on the field that's it's giving me heartburn. It always goes down like this:
Tsubasa attempts to kick the ball, screams, convulses with pain and falls to the ground. Nankatsu Player #1 (Ishizaki or Izawa, usually) yells, "Tsubasa!" Sanae yells from the stands, "Tsubasa-kun!" Either Matsuyama or Misugi yells, "Tsubasa!" and whichever of the two didn't speak just looks shocked. Hyuga stands there with his eyes twitching.
I've watched these episodes dozens of times but I still wish something different would happen. I want Takeshi to kill someone!
I watched The Episode for Demented Wakashimazu and Hyuga Fangirls (#119) last night and man, did I ever wear out my old tape rewinding that final scene over and over when I was fifteen! Ha ha ha ha....^_^;....
I've been knitting a sweater for Kristen and it's been taking more time than I'd like. It's the same as the light blue raglan sleeved sweater I made out of Andean Silk but this time it's in Hyacinth, a lovely dark blue-violet. I wish they made Andean Silk in pink. That's right, I've said it!

Date: 2006-08-09 06:00 am (UTC)I like that Japanese web page where they said that junior high era Tsubasa was like a zombie who kept getting knocked down and getting up, and would eat people. I have a hard time feeling bad for somebody who collapses five times per episode, and screams like a little girl every time the doctor treats him, ha ha!
