Bleh........

O_O Kristen did some checking and realized that our computer doesn't have enough RAM for our new printer/copier/scanner. Hey, it's 5 years old.....I'm not too concerned because we do have a better computer downstairs. I mostly wanted it for the copier function, anyway, and you don't need to hook it up to a PC to make copies. Hah. I don't really print out much, and I don't have much use for a scanner. I know that in days past I would consider scanning some of my doujinshi and posting it on a webpage for people to look at but.....forget it. That's copyright infringement, isn't it? And what's the fun of collecting doujinshi if you don't hunt it down and keep it to yourself?

Not much going on here today. I beat Rockman 8 again last night. I suck at videogames, so it took me 5 or 6 tries to get past the sled part of the first level of the Wily stage. D'oh! -_-;;....I swear, Capcom made up for the short length of the game by putting in some near-to-impossible jumps. I hate jumps. I almost had a heart attack at that part and the part right after you fight Forte. Guuh.....I should've kept a towel with me, because my hands were drenched with sweat! Are videogames supposed to cause you physical pain?

I was having a heck of a time beating the last boss (what can I say, I'm an idiot!) and I decided to, as a last ditch effort to preserve my life, use that ?Rush thing. He puked out something that looked like a Starlight mint, and I was like, "What the hell is that?" It turned out to be that legendary "Yashichi (?)" from the first game (the one that refills all your HP and weapon power). This took a while to kick in (Kristen, who was rubbernecking, had to point it out to me)but when I saw my lifemeter refill I cursed with joy. ^o ^

(word to self: next time, use the Rock Buster instead of the damn Flame Sword!)

I noticed something funny about the ending. During the scene where Blues gives Rockman the message from Duo, their voices are dubbed incorrectly! In the Japanese version, too! O_o I was okay with it, because, unlike in the English version they didn't sound like crap, but.....^_^;;.....

Soo.....Kristen and I are going to either go halfsies on Myu number 2, or I'm going to pay for all of her. Customizing her is going to be my job! I think I'd like to give her pink lips instead of neutral. I have no idea when either doll is going to come in, but I'm looking forward to it. I have a feeling that we're going to end up selling the second one's wig--pearl white will be her "default."

I could've sworn that someone said that the mini head is different now, and that you don't need to carve open the eyewells to put 18mm eyes in. If that's the case, I might want to try 18mm eyes in Anise (#2). Just for variety!

If I could do a FCS SD, I'd want....a white-skinned doll with the F-08 head and SD13 body. Or maybe the F-13 head? For the eyes, I'd choose light gray glass, and for the wig, pearl silver? ^_^ I know I'll never be able to do this, but it's nice to dream, isn't it?

I wonder if it'd be easier to customize a standard SD to this design? Would it cost less? I wouldn't mind making a Mimi look like this, or even another Rio. Someday, when I have enough money of my own.....

It's be neat to do a doll with a long, soft curl lavender wig and those really light purple eyes, too. ^-^.....
