Cold and freezing snow....
Dec. 1st, 2002 02:11 pmHrm.....an ambulance and a few police cars are hanging around the corner of my street. It looks like there might have been a car accident, but from the little amount of fuss going on it's probably not serious.
I haven't received my glass eyes yet, but I did get the SD fleece coat I won on eBay, courtesy of Aimee. ^____^ It's really cute and fuzzy! I wish I could wear it myself. Unfortunately, Fuuka doesn't have any real clothes to wear under it just yet (unless she wants to wear her slip and look like a flasher!). Kristen suggested that I make a winter dress, because the coat reminds her of what the girls wore in the Madeleine series. Just wait till Christmas....
I went out to a few shops yesterday. I went to A.C Moore instead of Michaels because it was on the way, but, unfortunately, it didn't have what I was looking for for Emilie's doll. I did manage to find some paintbrushes and sponge sandpaper for Kristen's Myu. We're going to try the full esthetic on her, after all! It's about time, isn't it?
No sign of the white and tanned bodies at HLJ. When I get some money, I'm probably going to ask Minako to pick up a few for me. I'm in no rush--I have plenty of projects to keep me busy, but they're so much cheaper than they used to be! It wouldn't do for me to ask her for anything until my latest order comes in, though! ^_6
We bought another orchid. It's a lot bigger than the other one, and I had a hard time finding a place for it in our room. Kristen had wanted to buy a white one specifically, but the purple ones were prettier! Oh well.....the other one we have is light pink (but not currently blooming). They're different enough!
We bought these green tea flavored ice cream mochi at Trader Joe's. I'd heard that green tea ice cream was good, but this was the first time I'd tried it. It was nice and refreshing ^_^!
::wonders what else she can say::
We also went to the Christmas Tree Shoppe. I know that a lot of people love that place, but the one we went to was full of junk and smelled like a barn! Oh, but we did buy 5 boxes of Bigelow tea there. Constant Comment, English Breakfast and Chinese Fortune. I personally like loose tea much more than tea bags, but it's awfully inconvenient to make! My favorite tea is assam. Currently ^_^....I like tea that's malty and has a lot of body.
::explodes and dies::
