Big Piece of Cake.

Today was Dad's birthday, and some of his coworkers threw him a big party thing. He took some of the cake home for me and Kristen to try; it was German chocolate cake, one of my old favorites, three layers and lots of frosting. Well, I ate a mid-sized piece, and all I can say is that I lack the fortitude of my youth. My eating-frosting-out-of-the-can days are over! I don't even think I like cake at all any more. It's too bad. Kristen made some gingerbread, and it was much better. I'm surprised that cake didn't put me into a sugar-induced coma!

I'm trying to learn to crochet. Kristen's been helping me, and I've been looking at a book, but I'm really no good at it! I'm trying not to get too upset about it. ^_^;....I just want to have some kind of hobby that will help me to relax, something with repetitive motion. I'll practice and practice and I'm going to improve!

I started playing Tales of Destiny 2 again. That game really is a lot of fun. I've been trying to play on Mania mode with Kristen controlling Reala, and the enemies aren't beating us up THAT badly. I've been thinking that maybe I should try using Kyle, but the last time I did that my grade rank dropped to a negative number. -_-;;....The only way I can get a lot of points is to use Judas and cower in a corner, casting Negative Gate over and over again. That's pretty cheap! His hit points are ridiculously low. Is he even a man?

Right now, I'm in Elraine's flying dragon thing. I pretty much love this game, but she has to be the stupidest RPG villain ever! She doesn't have a sympathetic bone in her body, and she talks like a record being slowed down. Barbatos is also a stupid villain who talks too slowly. And these two are played by A-list voice actors?!

There doesn't seem to be much point to Nanaly's character. I like her, but she's just...there. But hey, I can't complain. At least there isn't a love triangle in TOD 2! That whole concept is awfully stale--I mean, stop acting like the main character is the only man (or woman) on the planet and move on with your life!
