Yuka.

I repainted my 1/6 scale doll Yuka tonight. I've repainted her once before and didn't like the results at all! This time she was just as hard to repaint, but I think she came out better:

There's something about her coloring that made her really hard to paint. Her skin and hair color almost match, and everything I did looked bad. At some point, I smeared red paint on her cheek and had to break out the bottle of acetone to remove it (it wouldn't come off with water!). I poured a little into the bottle cap to make it easier to access, and when I went to put the cap back on the bottle I had forgotten all about that, and ended up spilling acetone all over my hand ^_____^;...That stuff doesn't burn on contact, but I have very sensitive skin, and I bet I'll have a nasty little rash in the morning!

I haven't uploaded her new picture to my page because my computer is being a bitch and won't let me open FrontPage. HA!

She has coral pink lips, but it doesn't show in the photo. Sorree ^-^!

A Little More.

Did I mention that I finally had my hair cut? My hair stylist would only take 3 inches off, but she curled the ends with a heated curling brush and I think the results were pretty nice. Of course, since it's the weekend and I'm lazy my hair looks like crap again, but I'm going to dig up our curling brush later and give it a try. Apparently, I'm not supposed to blow-dry my hair. I guess it's too fine, or something. What a pain! Sometimes I think it would look better if it were just a shade lighter, but I don't want to damage my hair by dyeing it until it goes gray ^____^;;....

Sorry I keep blathering on about my hair! But it's been a source of woe to me for my entire life. ^o^

Made pork cutlet curry rice tonight. I used Panko to bread the cutlets, and they were pretty good. We ran out of automatic dishwasher detergent, and that was not good. I freaking hate washing dishes! Whenever my parents are around they have a fit if I don't wash the dishes within a half hour of using them. I know I'm being lazy by insisting on using the dishwasher, but I would rather use the half hour I'd spend doing them by hand on more important things! I have a hard time believing it uses up as much electricity as they say, anyway.

I haven't crocheted in a while. I have no yarn to use! That Red Heart stuff I had been using to practice smells funny. I think I mentioned that before.

-_-;;....I've been pretty short-tempered lately, especially around my mother. I had a huge fight with her yesterday, and this morning I was trying to explain something to her and she cut me off, and I yelled "DON'T INTERRUPT ME!" before I had a chance to stop myself. My younger brother admonished me. People have been really getting under my skin lately. I think I need to cut back on my caffeine consumption. ....I think that I have to be one of the most impatient people around. A lot of people see me as mild-mannered, but I'm the kind of person who blows her top when someone says something she thinks is stupid. I wouldn't say that I have a type-A personality, but I could definitely use a lesson in acceptance...eh heh heh....
