Ice Cream! ^o^

Today was a nasty, muggy day. Kristen and I tried to refresh ourselves by breaking out the ice cream maker for the first time this year and making cream cheese ice cream from a recipe in Gourmet magazine. I'm always leery about using that thing, but the ice cream turned out fantastic ^_^! If we ever manage to find macha powder, I want to make green tea ice cream. I know that some companies make green tea ice cream, but I can never seem to find it in stores. Must not be an East Coast thing....=_=

I have a ton of video games to play, but for some reason I'm concentrating on Star Ocean 2 now. I've played it before, but I did Rena's quest that time and I never finished the Cave of Trials. I'm going to try to finish up all my pending PSX games before going back to my import PS2 games. I haven't finished FF6, Chrono Trigger and, of course, Star Ocean 2. I also haven't finished Grandia and Legend of Legaia, but I kind of lost my way and might have to start over in Legend of Legaia, and, as I've said many times, I hate Grandia and would sooner burn it than pick it up again. Lunar 2 is Kristen's, but she says I can play it if I feel like it.

I would like to continue with Tales of Destiny 2, but I think I should probably study some more. I don't have Harold yet, but I should meet her soon. ^__^;;....

I prewashed some fabric today. I'm going to use the plum floral print to make the dress from that mini SD pattern book I bought a while back. I can't make one to sell, because the book forbids it, but I'll be sure to take pictures!

The 27th was Miyako's first birthday. I didn't really do anything because the kite purple eyes I ordered for her haven't come in yet ^___^;;....I figure that if I make her a dress, she'll forgive me. It's hard to believe I've only had her for a year! I bet I never anticipated having four more SDs before her first birthday! (Well, two more minis and two standard SDs)...I'm sure that there are a lot of people who splurged more than I did. Besides, Miyako and Anise are the only ones I can truly call my own. Saffron is Kristen's, and we have joint custody of Maya and Fuuka. I guess that if we were to part I'd take Maya for a while and leave Kristen with Fuuka. I'd want to switch off after a while, but I feel more responsible for Maya because I'm the one who jumped to buy her. Not that I don't love Fuuka just as much!^_____^

One of these days, I'm going to have to get Kristen another mini to balance off Anise. I hope Volks re-releases Ken and Mika! I would like Ken, but I think that Kristen would prefer a female doll. I'll have to keep my eyes open!

Speaking of which, is it just me or does that new mini SD Akira have an altered version of the first mini SD face? I have to say I really don't like him.

From what I've seen, Aya's head mold would make a mightee fine boy. I'm not touching Maya, but if that head were available FCS, maybe...
