Ria is Cute. ^_^

Thanks to Helene for posting all those links in DOA! ^o^

At first, I didn't think I liked Ria, because I saw a photo of her from the Dolls Party that looked kind of creepy. But now that I've seen a definite picture of her I think that what I saw was another old Rio! -_- They don't look that much alike. Ria appears to have a much smaller head (I read a report that said that all the new dolls have smallish heads) and her nose and mouth shape are completely different. I think Ria is pretty cute!.....But I think that she would look better with a different eye color, maybe gray? She looks like she has that new skin tone, and her skin looks a little ruddy for those purplish eyes. Oh well. I have a feeling that Volks will standardize Ria, because the anime-style heads seem to be popular in Japan and her face looks pretty unique. I admit that from the earlier pictures she can pass off as old Rio, but now that I've seen her up close, she looks like a completely different doll. I'm glad. I don't think Volks would have changed Rio's head mold if their customers hadn't had a problem with it. From what I heard, a lot of people who bought old Rio felt the need to sand down her face, cut her mouth, and do all sorts of drastic things to her.

Anyway, I do like Ria. Her face is pleasing to me, but I'd wait for a standard release before I tried to buy her.

Lemon Cookies.

I have a stomachache from eating three of Kristen's glazed lemon cookies in a row. I usually don't eat sweets in great quantities, but they were good and I didn't want them to go to waste! Cookies with frosting are neat. ^_^

I decided to take a "reading week" off from studying Japanese. I think it will do me some good. I was starting to feel pretty burnt out! I need some time to recharge. I think that forcing myself to study in my free time has made me a tad touchy. Really ^_^;..Monday, I'll be back on the wagon!

I advanced a little further in Tales of Destiny 2. I just finished the part where you have to push five hot pink dogs into ditches, beat the crap out of them and use their teeth (?) as fuel to burn down poisonous grass. Chasing them around was a pain! To alleviate the tedium, I switched Nanaly out for Loni. Neither of them are much good, ho ho ho! ^o^

None of the auctions I listed went for very high, but I'm glad the stuff sold. I'm losing a bit of money, but it's not like I haven't had auctions that closed at four times what I paid for the item. =_= If I were having a garage sale, I would have to mark stuff down, right? =_=

We had some nice rain today.

Ahh....that reminds me, I had a weird dream a few nights ago. I was living in some kind of high-tech utopian society that had been created by a group of megalomaniacs who wanted to brainwash everyone into worshipping them as gods (Hmmm..too much TOD 2?) I was secretly trying to bring down the establishment with a group of my friends, but eventually they were seduced to the side of evil with promises of material possessions. On the surface, I looked like an average person, but I had some kind of secret power that allowed me to change into a magical girl or.....something. -_- Anyway, my friends and I were "invited" to one of the government's dinner parties. We were supposed to spend the night there, and each of us were assigned to our own suites. My friends' rooms looked like something out of a love hotel, but mine was a 4x4 wooden crate. I complained to the hosts about this, but they just laughed and said "We know what you're up to!" They had discovered my secret identity! I could have gone over to their side, but I stuck to my guns and spent the night in the crate. All I could do was stand there as people crowded around and threw stuff at me. For some reason, that kid from Malcolm in the Middle and Britney Spears were leading the mob. They really had it out for me!

Anyway, that was my dream. ::bows:: I thought it was pretty funny, but I guess you had to be there.
