Ugh...my grandmother decided to drop in for a surprise visit while I was in the middle of making dinner. She's done this before--she won't eat with us, but she'll sit on the sofa next to the table and stare at us while we try to have our meal. I don't know what the heck she's thinking showing up on a Tuesday night. When my father was growing up she always served dinner at 4:30 pm. We usually eat around 6:45, and she thinks that's way too late so she just goes by her own schedule....-_-;;...
She came into my bedroom. I didn't really want her to, because depending on her mood she can be...ehh....anyway, she told me I should put some of my dolls away in boxes. She liked Maya, but she said that Anise looks like she's been smoking pot. She didn't notice the others, thank God. I guess that Dad for some reason told her I was selling some of my dolls (I have sold a few of my 1/6 scale dolls) and she seemed disgruntled when I told her I wouldn't sell my SDs. Phooey. I know I'm being too sensitive, but I guess I just don't have the warm, loving heart required to be a good hostess. I wish I could be the kind of person who loves entertaining, but it makes me uncomfortable. Get out of my house!
I snapped a few pictures this evening. You can check them out on my page; I think there are too many of them to post in here.
Some of my 1/6 scale dolls (at the bottom):

I finished the fifth Harry Potter book today. I'll post my thoughts tomorrow. 840 pages in 3 days, not bad, eh? n_n
Apparently, Volks is releasing a new Showroom in Sendai. The new Showroom Angel, Iyo, is kind of pretty. She's the blue-haired dolly at the top of the page:

That's just the prototype, though. I hope the actual doll is nice! But then again, maybe I don't...
