Last night I had a dream that I was discussing with Kristen whether we should get SD Ria (somehow she was available) or Mimi right away. Strange that in the dream Kristen insisted that we buy Ria. In real life she doesn't even like her! Anyway, I had wanted Mimi but went along with her decision because I didn't want to make waves. I remember that before I woke up I was panicking because I just ordered an SD even though I had no money to pay for her!

I talked with Kristen a little about it today, and I did some calculations. If I have my heart set on it, I could order Mimi for Christmas. I'm going to keep my eyes open for when Frank puts up another preorder. $540 for an SD really isn't that bad.

I painted my mini girl, Lavender, tonight. She's wearing an Azone 22cm yukata because for the life of me I can't find a suitable pattern to sew an outfit for her from:

There she is, my second mini Volks doll. I wanted to give her gray eyes but I ended up painting them blue-gray. ^_^;....

I just noticed that the Dollfie Dream doll that I thought had gorgeous painted eyes actually has open eyewells and those new anime-style acrylic eyes! Maybe it shouldn't offend me, but it really does. The doll is still beautiful, but jeez! So much for my holy grail of eye-painting talent.

Ah, Sweet DSL.

Well, my brother came home from college for a day and he helped us open our computer and install DSL. (Since the computer wasn't ours originally and we couldn't find the manual we couldn't figure out how to open the damn thing!) He was a bit of a jerk about it, but now, after months of dealing with AOHell, we can finally kiss it goodbye! Goodbye, AOL, you piece of utter crap! You made my online experience SUCK!

^_^;.....Still dreaming about Mimi. I tell you, if I had all the space in the world I'd try out one of those Dollfie Dreams as well, but I'm keeping all the SDs on my bed and I have to move them every time I need to sleep. So....I'll save up a bit more and hold out for Mimi. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for when Frank puts up the next normal preorder. I'm really going to take off her entire face. ^o^ Of course, I've done face-ups before, but somehow this seems special.
