Pink Pink Pink.

I'm so bad at thinking up titles for my entries!

I took a picture of Ciel outside. I tried the Volks pink curl wig on her and replaced her eyes with Volks light orange.

I noticed something disturbing when I was trying different eyes in Ciel. The Volks 20mm red eyes don't fit! The irises are the right size, but the entire eye size is closer to 22mm. I remember reading about this phenomenon in a Japanese auction description. I don't know why the Zoukei-mura red 20mm eyes are too big for Ciel, but the light orange ones are fine. I'm annoyed because I very much wanted to put the red eyes in her. They would've looked nice against her neutral make-up. ;_;

Meet Will.

I painted one of my 1/6 scale dolls today. It's a boy made with the Volks SH-06 head rooted with Noix de Rome violet B hair and the Excellent C body. His name is Will. He has a big forehead! ^o^...

I had a pair of black-rimmed photo-etched glasses for him, but when I tried them on him he looked like a complete idiot. So all right, I'll admit that I copied his design from a character in the GBA Fire Emblem! I can't hide it now!

I didn't try to do anything unusual with his eyes. He looks a little blah. I got tired of trying to fight with the brush and did what I felt most comfortable with. This is my first doll of '04. Wait, no it isn't! Is my brain falling asleep? It's been 3 1/2 years since I customized my first 1/6 doll. o_o I'm still not a genius.
