Two Years Ago...

This gorgeous plant was growing up my front steps:

It was the most amazing color. I love blue! I wish we didn't have so much trouble growing morning glories from seed in this part of the country!

This year, we tried out these 2ft sunflowers with full-size blooms. They're kind of odd...very hard to photograph. We have two and the other one has already been pecked at by birds. This one is bending towards the ground. Not very photogenic behavior!
