Disappointment and RAGE!

I need an ocean to contain my tears. Another day has passed and still no TOD!

Counting the weekends it's been two weeks since Play-Asia shipped it via Airmail. I've had packages from them take longer than this but I'm worried that in the holiday rush something happened to it. It had better show up tomorrow, damn it!

On a happier note I did a good amount of writing last night. I even worked up the courage to show part of it to Kristen, who reacted positively (I think!). This draft is a mess of sloppy handwriting, cross-outs and notes in the margins. I'm surprised she managed to decipher anything at all.

I read some of Kristen's work too. She has such neat, precise-looking handwriting that from a glance you'd think she used a typewriter. ^_^;...She kept asking me if I thought it was garbage. There are things that make me want to stop reading a story, like poor grammar, overly flowery prose and bloated description. If I don't like a book I'll probably give up on it after the first five pages. Her writing didn't have any of those qualities. I had no problem with staying with it for more than twenty pages. In the end all I could say to her was, "I'm still reading it, aren't I?"

My father had an appointment with his cardiologist on Tuesday. Everything's normal, he just told him to exercise more often during the week. ^^ I don't know if I was expecting anything bad but I'm happy that we can look forward to Christmas without anything hanging over our heads.
