Not much to report, but...

I saw a red-tailed hawk hanging out on my deck in the early evening. I had heard they had been attacking humans in CT lately, so I was pretty interested. It seemed pretty mellow to me, though. XD I've been seeing a lot of birds lately, mostly robins, and the resident pair of cardinals. This morning I saw blue jays for the first time this year. Blue jays are bad birds, but at least they keep the starlings in check!

I finished writing Chapter Three two days ago. I'm in the process of revising it on the computer now. I haven't counted the handwritten pages yet...but I wouldn't be surprised if Ch. 3 ended up being half the length of the first two chapters. I don't know if this is a good sign or a bad sign. I'd like to think that at this point the major info dumping can stop!

I'm continuing to read Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell. I'm about 140 pages in right now. I just haven't had time to keep a steady pace. I think it's a great book, but damn, it's heavy to carry around! I don't know who this copy belongs to in my house. I'd like to ask them to consider buying paperback books instead.
