1/8/11--The Aftermath of a Snowstorm.

I just got in from shoveling after last night's snowstorm. I think we got about 8 inches over here. I'm usually in pretty good shape when it comes to shoveling, but my upper body is completely numb right now. We're supposed to have another snowstorm on Tuesday, too? :O

In spite of the traffic problems it caused, this was a beautiful storm. Big, fat snowflakes and no wind. Outside was as quiet as a church. Not like that terrible blizzard on December 26. The wind was so loud with that one that I was shaking in my shoes.

FYI for anyone who tries it.

The Burnt Sugar Custard is pretty good chilled, regardless of what the recipe says. It's all gone now. I savored every bite!
