Oops!

So that first cosmos really was a reseeded "Sensation" cosmos! This is the real "Cosimo Sparkling Wine." There are still similiarities between the flowers, but this one is a darker color with rounder petals. It's too bad that we won't have any Double Click "Rose Bonbon" this year...but we still have "Snowpuff." That's the same flower type but white instead of pink. The plants we have now are still too young to flower.

Blue, blue blue...

Nikko Blue has almost completed its color change. I have to say that even though I love blue flowers and love this plant, it's not exactly drought-tolerant. When it's hot and sunny outside those flowers crinkle up like tissue paper, only to uncrinkle at dusk!
