The Nintendo DS Kanji Sonomama Rakubiki Jiten was one of my Christmas gifts to my sister last year but I've been finding it very useful lately! More often than not when I'm reading manga and find kanji I don't know my old college kanji dictionary doesn't have them either. Even if it does, looking it up by anything but stroke count or reading takes too long for me. I love that with the Nintendo DS dictionary all you have to do is write the character on the bottom screen with the stylus to pop up the reading and definition! I've already been able to look up five kanji that weren't in my old dictionary. And it's so much easier than poring through a book. Woo hoo! :D

Went to Trader Joe's tonight. It was raining hard and we were caught behind a truck that sprayed water at us the whole trip up there. They didn't have the Gnocchi al Gorgonzola (booo!) but I picked up an interesting dessert. It's some kind of torte with caramel and hazelnut creme and pistachio...something. If it's any good I'll post about it--I like talking about food! It's too bad I'm so picky. I'm the kind of person who takes a little of something and if it isn't fabulous I won't even swallow the first bite.

I changed my mind. If you have writer's block sometimes it really is better to find something else to do! I'm still working on my Carpenter Sweater; I'm almost done with the back. I know I'm knitting too much when I wake up in the morning with throbbing hands. Owwww...

I've been playing TODr for 20 hours. I'm wandering around Phandaria. I cannot believe how bad Chelsea looks in the in-game art. What happened?

My three volumes of Marginal showed up on Friday. I'm not going to read it until I'm done with Barbara Ikai but I flipped through it and there was a dude fighting stark naked on one of the pages! But he didn't have a willy....^o ^;
