Thought it was another poppy anemone...

...but it turns out it's a Persian Buttercup. Well, as long as the care is the same!

Maybe it's because I live in the bedding plant capital of CT, but they sell such bizarre and fascinating plants at our local nursery. I hope they restock their Japanese iris soon!

These poppy anemones have had their petals for at least five days.

Remember how long the petals lasted on my Papaver somniferum last year? Four hours. Unless it was a windy day. Then it was more like forty minutes. XD

Needless to say, I think poppy anemones are the superior garden plant.
