We finally got an intact bloom from "Jude the Obscure!"

I think that it's just as beautiful as "Evelyn." This rose has been holding its own in the garden, slowly but steadily increasing while "Evelyn" shoots out monster canes. I think AUSjo has a nice habit. And it would have been a generous bloomer if the chafer beetles hadn't gotten to it.

"Scepter'd Isle" just isn't doing as well as the other two. I had really expected better...

We've been having sporadic heavy showers today, and I cut these blooms to prevent them from being destroyed. From left to right it's "Honeysweet", "Jude the Obscure" and "Iobelle."

I think all my favorite rose colors are represented here: yellow, orange, warm-toned red, pink and white. If I had any lavender flowers right now they'd have to go in a different glass!

This is the first time all year I've had enough roses to cut for a glass at the same time. What a treat!

I'm not sure which rose is the star of the arrangement. Probably "Iobelle" (the pink and white hybrid tea).
