Oct. 23rd, 2012 08:51 pmOh plllleeeeease don't tell me we're going to get another "historic" storm this weekend. My nerves can't handle it! Irene was mostly a blowhard, but that October snowstorm was the worst! Not that I can't handle it--::cracks knuckles::
The only good thing I have to report is that Marianne is really going to make it. She's been in a pot for a couple of weeks, and she's still growing! So we only lost Lavender Lassie to the moles. Overwintering a Gallica hybrid indoors in an unheated room might cost us next year's bloom, but I rather lose the blooms than lose the bush.
I learned something funny about Lucas today. He loves watching violent anime! We were watching Red Garden in the living room and he was totally glued to the screen, making squinty face. He even snuggled next to Kristen to watch--something he hasn't done since he was a kitten. So our cat's tastes in TV include violent anime, documentaries featuring animals beating each other and the local forecast on the Weather Channel. Go figure...
