First Flowers of the Year!

I managed to unearth Evelyn and got poked for my troubles. It looks like she lost two or three big woody canes but she has a lot of skinny green ones to make up for it. I guess she's been growing under the snow!
Speaking of growing under the snow, my problem child Felicite Parmentier is now 2 1/2 inches taller than she was when I covered her up in the fall. So I still have hopes for her. She has a massive rootball, after all.
