If only she didn't have blackspot...

I have Evelyn growing behind my garage, so I feel like she's my little secret. Maybe a rose like this would be a good showpiece for the front yard, but she probably wouldn't do as well without all that acidic gutter water flowing into her bed.

Our first home-grown bud since Heritage's planting--she popped the last one when she was still in a pot. Compared to Scepter'd Isle, her flowers are larger and have a distinctive peach cast.

She's doing pretty well for her first year. I hope she keeps it up!

Revival.

We came close to losing her last year, but now she's grown so large that we might have to repot her soon. Such a fussy creature!

On the whole I have not been pleased with the polyanthas or floribundas in my garden. Margo Koster is such a unique-looking rose, though, that I'm glad she's still around.
