Goodbye to Manna.

I just heard that my younger brother had to put his cat, Manna, to sleep today at 5 am. It seems that he had a stroke or something, and there was no hope of recovery. Poor Manna. He was such a sweet cat and a good friend for the past seven years. He was eighteen years old.

On a lighter note...

Lucas did the worst thing he's ever done to me today. I was lying in the living room on my stomach eating popcorn and I noticed him on the sofa nearby doing the crouched-down butt wiggle thing. I tried to ignore him, thinking that he'd just tag me or something...but instead he soared over the coffee table and dive-bombed me right in the back. Imagine 15lbs of cat slamming into your spine! It was like being pegged with a basketball!

Thank God BooBoo is only six and half years old. He's going to be around to torment me for a long time.
