Sometimes Star Trek: The Next Generation has some great stinger lines.

Late Sunday night, I was having a conversation with my older brother in our basement when he said that the hell of early '08 when he broke his femur, had to have a metal rod surgically inserted in his leg and had to go through almost three months of agonizing pain and physical therapy was the "best time of his life" because he got to do nothing but play video games all day.

At least someone got some good memories out of it.

I am so ticked that I can't make the banana cupcakes until at least Friday! The bananas aren't ripe yet. I haven't had dessert in so long...all we have are Cadbury Creme Eggs. I'm not that much of a sweet eater, and I'd kind of like my ass to stay the size it is now (I gained about 3lbs over the holidays and managed to lose it at last, thank God)...but I miss playing around with baking. My three favorite things to do with cooking are: 1. Working with lots of cute vegetables 2. Browning meat with a really nice crust and 3. Making portable desserts like cookies and cupcakes. My least favorite things to do are cooking chicken and fish. You need to check the temperature on chicken constantly to make sure it isn't going to kill everyone with salmonella, and it's always hard to tell when fish is done. Except fried shrimp. Fried shrimp is easy. Except for the part where you have to bread them. Now that I think of it, breading things is my absolute least favorite thing to do! The coating sticks to your hands and you end up with fingers that resemble corn dogs!

I think I beat the game in 100 hours straight. I enjoyed it on a whole, but towards the end I was disappointed. The extras Atlus added for the PSP remake were nice, but by the end they ran out, leaving me with the mediocre story and characters that irritated me in the PS2 version.

I was at lvl93 when I beat Nyx Avatar. I used Lucifell (the level 88 Persona you get for maxing out Star Community) and never felt compelled to change him. I just kept using Concentrate and his big magic attack (I can't remember what it's called) over and over. There really was no challenge!

My final party consisted of Akihiko, Mitsuru and Amada. They were all around lvl84. I think that the boss did the biggest damage to me when I stupidly had Amada attack when he was using his shield in Shinigami form. It bounced off Nyx Avatar and took off 501HP, killing Amada instantly. XD

Other than that, I think the most damage he did was 67HP on Mitsuru when he used Agi on her. Yeah, I think I was pretty overleveled!

And the ending...kind of sucked. No fair making me spend my last moments with Aegis (the Character endings don't come till the second playthrough)! It was nice to know that Aragaki managed to cheat the Reaper and come out of his coma thanks to the pocketwatch I returned to him. Too bad the Girl is now too dead to enjoy him!

I'm pretty sure I heard his voice promising to support me after the long string of party members encouraging me during the rigged Nyx battle. They didn't pop up any text, but I heard it! XD

So...now I'm left with a sense of lightness. I didn't think I'd be glad to be rid of a game I enjoyed for 100 hours. I think it jumped the shark as soon as Ryouji showed up. Technically, it should have jumped the shark after Aegis showed up, but she didn't do anything for a very long time.

Now I'm going to console myself by playing my decrepit copy of Persona 2: Innocent Sin. It isn't a PSP game, so I won't be playing it as much. If you didn't think Takaya was Bad enough, Hitler is one of the main villains in IS!
