Here's a dark and grainy video that features Lucas's standard morning greeting. He's done that three-note vocalization (heh ooh heh!) since he was a little kitten, with various degrees of cuteness/meanness. Over the past three years, he's come up with many sounds that are even stranger. Still, the original is a classic in my mind, so I want to archive it here.

I wish that I could get this boy to sleep in my bed at night! Unfortunately, one of his favorite games is pouncing on reclining people and either waking them up by screaming in their ear or bunny-kicking their available body parts. Confining him to one room while we sleep has worked out really well for us, but sometimes, I wish I could snuggle with him as I sleep.
