See how nicely the cone-shape flower spike has filled out? If this had "Royal Red"'s fragrance, it would be the finest of the butterfly bushes. I can't seem to stop photographing it! The flower spikes remind me of the cone seashells I was obsessed with when I was a kid. Fortunately, "Pink Delight" will not sting you to death with poisoned barbs if you touch it!

I'm ashamed to admit that we bought another butterfly bush this weekend. Hey, we have a big yard, and for all-summer blooming butterfly bush is "the" invaluable garden plant! So we added "White Profusion" to our collection. XD I can't see us getting any more. We've probably covered every color imaginable with Pink Delight (pink), Petite Plum (purple), Royal Red (red-violet), Ellen's Blue (blue-violet), Miss Ruby (fuchsia), Peach Cobbler (peach) and now White Profusion (obviously, white).
