Meet Sahara Mirage!

I haven't fixed the boo boo on her eye yet, but it doesn't seem to show in photos. Isn't she cute? I love the dark skin/jewel toned hair and outfit combination. I'm a little disappointed that the "jewels" in her tiara are molded plastic and not rhinestones or something equally sparkly. I like my sparkly things, I do. XD

I think I'm so attracted to these dolls because they remind me of characters from the video game series Mother (Mother 2 being Earthbound for the SNES).

So cute! Is her crown molded on or is it removable?

I was eyeing these dolls on Amazon again. One I like is marked down just under $20 but there is also a new (to me, at least) boy that has hair I like (orange, spiky). I'd probably dress him as a girl though. ^o^

Thank you! Her crown seems to be stuck onto her head with some kind of prong. I'm not sure if it's a permanent fixture, but I'm afraid that if I pull on it too much I'm going to break something. ^o^

I wonder if you're talking about Marina Anchors? Does she have blue hair and wear a sailor dress? I'm not sure if any of the other dolls have been marked down that much. My sister has that one and she's really cute! She's also the only one I've seen that didn't have any painting defects...Rumor has it that when she was first released the scalpers were selling her for ridiculous prices. Funny how she's marked down now. They must have made a lot with the second production.

The boy must be Ace Fender Bender. I've seen very cute pictures of him on flickr!

Marina is the one, yep! And Ace is the boy...I love his hair for some reason. I think he'd make a good tomboy. ^o^
