And it's just so fascinating!
Now that I've seen both Swirly Figure Eight and Sahara Mirage in person, I've realized that Swirly's skin tone is much darker. She's so darn cute, she deserves to be a popular doll if she isn't already! I love her skating dress.
I remember that last month I vowed that I wouldn't get too many of these dolls because of their size...I hate to admit that I've broken my promise to myself. I tell myself it's just Christmas shopping, but I think that if not for last month's trauma I wouldn't be so gung-ho about buying cute, smiling dolls. So this is what I've got so far. A few of these were gifts.
Suzette la Sweet
Blossom Flowerpot
Rosy Bumps 'N' Bruises
Sahara Mirage
Peanut Big Top
Ember Flicker Flame (really cute in person)
Jewel Sparkles
Ace Fender Bender (a gift)
Silly Hair Crumbs Sugar Cookie (also a gift)
Sprinkle Spice Cookie (Lalaloopsy Little)
Mittens Fluff 'N Stuff
I was lucky enough to get most of these for or below retail. Ember Flicker Flame, Jewel Sparkles and Ace Fender Bender were the only ones bought in a brick-and-mortar store, though. Last time I checked my local Toys 'R Us was only selling Dot Starlight, and Target had only about five of Crumbs Sugar Cookie and a bazillion of Suzette la Sweet. I guess the kiddies don't like her much...
The only one I'm really looking for to complete the list is Pillow Featherbed. If I'll ever find her, nobody knows. There is no way in hell I'm paying a scalper for her.
