I just went and did it, even though I told myself I'd wait. I had bought myself one of those 60cm Obitsu bodies with the intention of holding on to it for my birthday, but once I took it out of the box to examine it the temptation was too great. I had to screw around with it! ^o^

The head mold looked pretty strange to me at first, but it didn't look like anything I couldn't work with. I'd been dreaming of the giant Jenny Excelinas, and I wanted to see if I could make a 60cm version of Leene, my website's mascot. I had considered customizing a Super Dollfie to look like her, but to tell you the truth other than mentioning her name on my site frequently I haven't ever given her much thought. ^_^;....The 60cm Obitsu body seemed like the right thing to try. It's much cheaper than an SD and it has a very unique look.

I painted her face last night. I didn't have that hard of a time with it but I'm still not sure I did a great job. The head has prominent eyewells. I can't see myself doing more than one of these because they'd all look too similar. ^_^ I tried to widen her mouth a bit when I was painting her lips. Here, you can have a look:

She's wearing Saffron's white braid wig. I'd like to get her one in silver because the 1/6 scale version of her has silver hair, but white's close enough for now! The mini SD wigs fit well, but this style is the only one I've liked because the bangs on the other wigs are too heavy. The curl wig looked okay, but the waffle one was horrid. =_=

I put Maya's black dress on her for the time being. SD clothes fit the body pretty well. Leene-chan has a nice body ^_^;....
