But unfortunately, NDR is sold out of red saran ^o^....

The next doll on my chopping block is Julian, that brown-haired boy with the orange eyes I painted a while back. I don't know if I have it in me to paint him tonight, though. I had such a hard time with Shion that I feel like I'm out of the groove again--this always happens just when I start to think I'm comfortable with painting! Maybe I should read a book instead. I want to knit a sweater for Emilio but I don't have enough yarn. I might go out and get some tomorrow. I wonder what color would be good? I could plan and plan but when it boils down to it I'm just gonna choose what looks good in the store. ^o^

Meh. Looks like I'll be going to my grandmother's for Thanksgiving. That's fine and dandy because no one at home will have to make anything, but....she's a terrible cook. Her Easter spread this year was enough to make someone cry--dried-out pork, proscuitto with bad melon and this fresh kielbasa that was completely, utterly gray. She needs to stop making Polish food. Polish food is nasty.

Kristen and I did make something good last night, Chicken Provencal from one of those Cook's Illustrated magazines that haven't failed us yet. Yeah, and I made these brownies from a box mix at 10pm. Whenever anyone cuts one they leave the foil only half-covering the pan and that really pisses me off!

I want to repaint Miyako-chan badly. I used acetone to remove her face paint last time and was rinsing it off the whole time under running water. Is it okay for me to keep using it or do I need to find Volks Makeup Remover? I had heard something about acetone possibly damaging the resin over time, and I wanted to know if it's imperative that I use the Volks product to be safe. I can imagine that it's a powerful solvent in itself. What do the rest of you customizers use to remove your SD's paint when you want to give her a face-up?
