leene_chan | A little bit of shopping....

Well, I hadn't bought my PS2 yet, so I had to go to Target and buy that and a memory card. The place was a mess! And, for some reason, the guy who rang up my purchase was a dead ringer for Moby. ^___^;;.......

Now that that's out of the way, I'm all done. My presents are done, at least. All that's left is for Miyako's glass eyes to come in--I can't wait to see what they look like!

Kristen and I checked out the Yahoo!Japan Volks auctions this morning, and we saw those new Lost and Dark Angels. Well.....I couldn't get a good look at the faces of those "artificial angels," but the outfits are.....well, maybe I'm just being prudish, but......O_O;;.......It's a pity that they both have the Elegant body. I do want to have a better look at the 27cm one (one of them's a mini)but the both of them look like futuristic strippers! And then there's Meimei, No Pants Version. ^_^;;.....I'd like to see more of her face, though. Those dolls look like they might be pretty up close, but their outfits, to me, are just plain nasty!

Well....if the dolls are pretty, maybe it'll be okay, but....maybe the image is okay, but....looking at them reminded me of that Cher video, "If I Could Turn Back Time."

I saw some beautiful artificial flowers at Michaels when we were buying yarn. There was a gladiolus, and an orchid. And then I freaked out when I found out that they were $20 a stem! Our orchids cost us $20 a piece, and they're real! They were pretty well made, though. Maybe they'd be nice for a centerpiece.
