A Brand New Friend.

Moving right along. I painted another one of my boys tonight. His name is Andrew. In his story he has similar origins to my elf girl Claudia, so they'll be friends. ^_^

He has the Volks SH-06 head and New Excellent C body. His hair is RestoreDoll's blended color SeaGlow.

I had a hard time finding an eye color that looked good with blue-green hair. I remembered that in Xenosaga the Realians on Jr.'s ship had blue-green hair and golden eyes. I don't think it looks too bad!

That picture is awful! My camera is crap and has trouble with green. Sorry the photo is so blurry!

oooh! So cute! I love his colors! His hair color is especially pretty! Love his head mold too. One of my faaaav Volks skin heads. I love that you root your own hairs! Preroot heads gets so boring XD Rooting my own heads drives me crazy tho. I only ever finished rooting one head and wouldnt ya know I never ended up painting it? XD

Thank you! ^o^ Though I realize now that he looks too much like another one of my dolls, Yanagi, and I can't believe I let that pass. ^__^;...

I love the SH-06 head but it's become hard to find. I have one more doll with it that I haven't painted but after that there'll be no more! t_t I used to use prerooted heads but the hairstyles started to bore me. I like to blend colors, and once you start on that it's hard to stop. :D Rooting can be hard or easy depending on how soft the head is. I think it took me a week to root Andrew, and his head was hard as hell!
