In 2002, I commissioned an outfit from Emilie Sauriol in exchange for one of my custom dolls. It was for a character doll I planned to make of Luc from Suikoden 2. After some time I received the beautiful outfit to use with my doll but I never completed the project. And why was that?
Reason #1: All Suikoden fans must know this.
Reasion #2: The doll I made was ugly.
I tried to do what I could with my poor rooting job and the face I painted but I couldn't motivate myself. The outfit was gorgeous but the doll wasn't cute! O_O I then decided to reboil his hair to flatten it and repaint his face. I reboiled his hair soon after but I didn't repaint his face.
Years passed.
Finally, I forced myself to finish the Luc doll.
I still don't care for him but he at least is an improvement on the monstrosity he was before. The A-type head probably wasn't a good choice for this project but what else could I have done?! I made his eyes side-glance because Luc is often looking to the side in pictures. -___-
I'm not happy with the way things turned out but when I look at pictures of his old face I burst out laughing. He was one of the first dolls I made! If you want a laugh go to my page and have a gander at his first look before I destroy the evidence.
My back hurts.
Luc, your eyes are wonky but I'll let you rest now.
