Is this a little better?

I thought that maybe if I made Fuuka side-glance, her eyes would look less jarring. She looks a lot like Nono with those eyes, doesn't she?

I want to play TOD2, but I promised myself I'd wait at least 2 weeks. Everything I've been reviewing and teaching myself has helped me a lot in understanding the text and dialogue in that game. The thing that bothers me is that almost all that I've been understanding is what I've taught myself over the past two months, not what I learned in college. Well...that's not exactly right. I guess I'm taking it for granted that I understand the grammar structure; I'm not likely to forget that! But the vocab that I was taught in school seems to have no place in real life! I mean, how often are you going to come across the Japanese word for "government office?"

Mu mu mu....I should be happy that my Japanese is improving, and not deteriorating. I just wish I had started this early, and kept it up instead of slacking off for two years.

Kristen's Myu came in yesterday! ^_^ We put her together in no time at all. I tried my best to make Saffron look different from Miyako. I experimented in mixing light magenta and orange to make her lip color. I like the way it came out; I think I might use that color for the lips of some of my 1/6 scale dolls.

I've been having fun playing Pop'n Music 5. My one complaint is that most of the hidden songs suck! ;_; I think I like Power Folk 4 too much....it's a really difficult song, but it reminds me of something by T.M Revolution. Hot Limit, maybe? ^____^ Kristen and I freaked out at some point because we thought that Belle (the cute little French Pop girl) was smoking in her character animation, but it turned out that she was just blowing bubbles. Phew! My question of the day is: What the hell are Sugi-kun and Reo-kun doing when their backgrounds start flashing? Just because they like Rie-chan and Sanae-chan doesn't mean they can start dancing like them! o_o

Maybe you should get one some time in the future! No one else seems to have New Rio. I thought it was weird and a little disheartening that as soon as I got Fuuka and showed her off everyone started to rush to get the old Rio. I'm very happy to hear that you like her!

oh! don't worry about that! :) I think new rio is much much better than old rio. Of course that is my personal preference! But I didn't like old rio much at all. new one is lovely! almost completely different somehow!
Unfortunately my next doll HAS to be an SD13 Nono, I'm so taken with Lucas' sd13 joints that I really really want a girl one now! LOL! (plus Marina needs SD13 body I think.)

oy but I like nono13 so much I may eventually have to have two sd13 bodies.

yeah right like any of this I can afford anytime soon!!

I had wanted to get Rio even before the new one came out, but that was before I realized that a lot of Japanese customizers who had her (indeed, the ones I liked the most ^_^...) sanded parts of her face down and cut her mouth. After a while, the more I saw of her, the less I liked her, but I had already committed myself to buying her, so....it was a nice surprise that a new version came out ^_^! I have a feeling that if she hadn't I wouldn't have bought a full-size SD, period. Not that I don't like a lot of the other SDs!

I'm glad you like my SDs! ^_^ Yours are really pretty, too--you have quite a selection ^_^!
