Botan's New Look.

I had a hard time deciding which doll to paint this week and I came up with the idea to write the names of all the dolls I need to paint or repaint on slips of paper, fold them up, toss them around inside a hat and pick one at random. Even though I didn't have any immediate plans to repaint Botan, hers was the name I picked. The hat has spoken!

I tried to keep the same basic look with the orange eyes and white eyeshadow but I hope I was a little neater this time! From a glance she doesn't look that different but with her old face her eyes were wonky and lopsided. O_o

This week Kristen and I made chocolate cupcakes with orange buttercream frosting. They were so good I could've exploded from happiness after eating one. ^o^

I'm still plugging along with Tales of Rebirth. Considering that I chose to play that game before finishing DQVIII because I thought it would pale in comparison, it's funny that I actually like it more!

I just met up with Tytree (?). I don't know what the hell Namco was thinking with him! Here we have a guy with a huge green mullet who looks like he's about 35 but he has this HORRIBLE SQUEAKY LITTLE BOY VOICE LIKE NAILS ON A CHALKBOARD! I don't know if I hate him or not but every time he opens his beak I want to ram my fingers in my ears up to the second knuckles. I'm convinced that Kappei Yamaguchi planted himself outside Namco headquarters with a bomb strapped to his chest and demanded that he get the part of the guy with the green mullet in TOR unless they wanted him to blow their company sky high. Yessir, his voice is that bad. I think the only character in the entire game with a higher pitched voice is Mao aka Jailbait Boy.

Well, we've got two hours left of April Fool's Day...

I think Kappei Yamaguchi's voice makes a lot of people homicidal. Makes me long for the dulcet voice of Loni...0_o I think Tytree is the worst I've heard from him yet, as far as ear-grating voices. And I thought Ranma was bad...

That, and the kid with the glasses from Kiki's Delivery Service. I remember watching it in Japanese class and thinking "Who the hell plays that kid, he's horrible!" And what do you know, it was Kappei Yamaguchi.

I'm hoping I'll get used to Tytree's voice. I'd rather not hate him but my first impression was that he sounded like Steve Urkel.
