New Year's Resolution?
Jan. 2nd, 2003 12:27 amI almost forgot!
I never did sit down and think about my New Year's resolutions. I guess they'd be the same as last year's, except with a better attitude and more fuerza ^_^! Now that I think about it, I did a fairly decent job of keeping up last year's resolutions. If I didn't follow them through religiously I didn't completely abandon them. I seem to have more muscle tone than I did last year. ::flexes:: And....I can't remember what the other ones were. To be more laid-back? I don't know, I just remember that I promised to exercise more!
Well, I could promise to learn more Japanese, but I think I'm committed to doing that already. The same goes for sewing. Hmm...
I remember! The only New Year's resolution I didn't keep last year was to finish every cup of tea to the last drop. ^__^ Hee hee hee, I know that sounds like I'm trying to wax poetic, but I really do have a problem with sipping my tea too slowly and letting it go stone cold. It's such a waste!
But still, I think I should resolve to appreciate what I have this year, and not keep thinking about the next best thing. I wasted quite a bit of time mulling over the fact that I'm not where I want to be in anything I do. I should've stopped whining and at least taken one step in the right direction! Well, that's going to have to change. I keep telling myself, if what's stopping me from moving forward is fear, that's the worst excuse of all! *_*
Damn, it's raining like crazy out there! It feels strangely muggy for this time of night, almost like we're in the middle of a thunderstorm.
