Apparently, this is the only edible we're capable of growing in our garden:

I can't believe it but they actually taste good. ^____^

It's so hot today that they gave most public schools a half day. Hard to believe it's only June!

We also grow strawberries in our 7th floor terrace XD And they are edible!
We have some parley too.
And it is TOO damned hot to be June. It was already hot in May.
This is insane, I don't want to think what will happen in July!!!

Strawberries you grow yourself taste sooo much better than the ones they sell in supermarkets! I was really surprised these worked out. A nurse my parents work with gave four plants to us last year because she was moving and didn't have any room for them. (She just ripped them out of the ground, it seems) ^__^ I stuck them in the ground not thinking they would live through the winter but there they are!

I hate this hot weather, all our grass has been burned by the sun. I think it's supposed to cool off a little around here by the end of the week but I'll believe it when I see it. XD

I love strawberries. ^___^ Are they difficult to take care of? Not that I have a garden, I live in an apartment. >_

Not really! I think you may be able to grow them in a pot. We just plunked them in the ground and let them spread. Other than watering and occasionally fertilizing I think they're supposed to be easy to grow. They're perennials but I read somewhere that you should replace the plants every three or four years or else you won't get as many berries. Granted, we planted 4 plants in the summer of last year and this year we pick about 5 ripe berries a day. ^_^;...I can imagine that if you want a large amount you'd have to plant a whole field! As of now, they're a fun oddity for my household.
