I felt like doing something weird with Emilio when I changed his eyes yesterday. The only 18mm eyes I hadn't seen in him yet were the Orchid Pink ones. He was previously wearing Lime Green and I had changed one eye when the idea struck me to leave him with one green eye, one pink. ^^; Not what most people think of when they give their doll "odd-eye!"

Today it rained for the first time in as long as I could remember. No watering for me! I'm grateful but it's nasty and humid outside now. Pretty soon I'm going to start dreaming of in-ground pools. =_=

Last night in Shin Megami Tensei if... I reached the World of Greed. The enemies beat me down and I fled screaming in terror. Aside from my trouble with Lilith I hadn't had that hard a time with the last place. I'm going to have to level up. I have so little patience for games nowadays.

I probably should have taken the tag off that fake flower!

Oh, coolness!

Hrrrmmm. I wonder how he'd look with a wig that's also two colors, one on each side? Of course, that might make him look too much like that black&white alien on the old Star Trek.

Thank you ^^!

I wish I had a wig like that! I wish I could make wigs like some of the people who own BJDs. Now I'm going to have to research the old Star Trek to see the black&white alien. ^^ Unfortunately the farthest back I can remember is The Next Generation. ^^

I remember once I was painting a white haired doll with two different eye colors. At first I wanted to do red and green and then I thought "Stop Light!" So I ended up doing red and blue and when I was finished it looked like the American flag. Maybe I should have made him themed for the 4th of July!

It was the original Trek, prolly from before you were born, and they had a guy made up all black on one half, and all white on the other, and he was the last person on his planet, *except* for a guy who was all white on one half, and black on the other, and they had to fight to the death. It was supposed to be an eternal message about prejudice and brotherhood and all that 60s grooviness. Frank Gorshin, a character actor who passed away recently, famously played one of the black/white alien dudes.

Anyways, I like your Fourth of July doll story!!

Interesting! ^_^ I wonder if they're still showing reruns on TV late at night? I remember they did all the time when I was a kid because even though the show ran before I was born I do remember the time when there was only the original Star Trek!

I think I found a picture of one of the aliens (he was painted up to look like one of those black and white frosted cookies they sell at bakeries.)

I'm glad you liked my doll story! I think a few people must think I have too flashy taste in dolls with the weird hair and eye colors I choose but that's most of the fun! ^_^
