Whenever we have a lot of thunderstorms over the course of a few days my stomach hurts the whole time. Is it nerves or something physiological? Maybe I should drink some green tea, that usually helps. Bigelow Green Tea with Lemon isn't bad considering that their green tea in general tastes like cigarette ash. My favorite brand is Yamamotoyama but stores around here don't carry it any more. =_=

Since I'm obviously not going to be able to see Howl's Moving Castle (and I don't know why I've been fixated on seeing that movie, I just am) I picked up a copy of the book it was based on. I know they changed quite a bit for the movie but the book is so good I can hardly put it down. It's been a while since I read a book I enjoyed this much. It brings tears to my eyes! *^^* It's my dream to write books like that. Children's literature is nice because it has to maintain a degree of simplicity in order to appeal to its audience and you don't usually see the pretension and self-importance that bogs down a lot of adult literature.

I'm taking a break from if.... That game is starting to irritate me but I'm sure I'll return to it soon. The next game in my stockpile is Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner. I only played it for an hour late last night and I can't give any real impressions. The battle system is fun and the text is hard to read. I must stop referring to Heat as "Midorikawa." Like, I was fighting a battle in that Hideout of the Chickens and I was like "That demon just hit Midorikawa in the junk!" I assign nicknames to characters in RPGs, it's an odd habit of mine. ^__^

Sorry to hear about your troubles...

Oh, congrats on finding Howl's Moving Castle! I've been checking bookstores but they don't seem to carry it... I'll likely have to order it from Amazon.

How far are you from Hartford? There's a tiny four-screen theatre that's playing Howl's Moving Castle... even if you've already read the book, it may be fun to see the movie as well. :) (The version I saw there was dubbed, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.)

^_^ I did order it from Amazon.com and it came very quickly. It was $6.99, which is why I love buying children's books. ^^ You really ought to try it, it's a great book. I would say that as far as the genre goes it's better than Harry Potter but I'd probably be lynched by someone for that! ^__^;

I'm about 40 minutes from Hartford but I need to look into that theater! Thanks for the info! I was concerned because according to rottentomatoes.com they would only be showing it for a few days more. Gack!

I wouldn't mind watching it dubbed in the theater. I think my mother wanted to see it and she wouldn't tolerate subtitles! ^^ Other than that, I'm going to have to wait for it to be released on DVD. I hope it comes out before the end of the year!

Oooh, good luck! I hope you get to see it on the big screen... DVD is nice too, but there's something nice about seeing it in a theatre. :)

Link to the theatre, in case you need it

They had posters for March of the Penguins when we went... I hope they'll show it soon. :)

Thanks! ^_^

This information was not provided to me by the moviefinder at rottentomatoes.com! O_O It didn't occur to me that their listings were incomplete. What luck :D!

I totaly forgot to check your reply to my comment about doll questions. I have no memory. Oi. Thanks for your help, I went ahead and just used the testors stuff, but I apreciate the advice anyway. I wish I could paint the eyes like you do. I dont think im steady enough though. I cant believe people are tired of of the 1/6 scale dolls, I just recently got into them cuz I found out there is a store really close to me that sells them. I should take a picture and show you. You can critique me. My dollfie plus is still lacking hair, I think your right, that the wigs are too small for them. Plus this one has no bangs and that looks odd. Ok I lost my train of thought, can I add you? I like seeing your doll pics. :)

Hi again ^_^! Don't worry about it, I'm not too good at responding to posts in a timely fashion myself. ^^;...

Feel free to add me, I'll add you back. ^_^ I'd be happy to help you with whatever questions you have. Don't worry about not having a steady hand--even after 5 years of customizing I still have my problems! The most important thing is to enjoy what you do--that'll help you get over the little (and big) frustrations more than anything.
