I had ordered two Obitsu doll bodies from HLJ a while ago and they finally arrived today. Looks like the postal service searched the package. Go right ahead, I have nothing to hide! o_O

Kristen made this Tuscan-style steak dish that had strip steak served on a bed of arugula with olive oil and herb dressing and parmesan curls on top. ^_^ It was really good! All I did was make the parmesan curls, dry the washed greens and slice the steak. I am a slacker. XD

The weekend my grandmother and aunt came to visit. Quite by surprise, actually, because I didn't think my grandmother was up to traveling after her operation. Apparently she wanted to buy my father some new clothes now that he's lost so much weight. ^__^;....My aunt somehow ended up in my room looking at all the dolls. She sells a lot of crocheted items at craft fairs and she was very impressed by some of the handmade clothes we have on our dolls. She says she wants us to peddle our wares with her at the next fair. I don't know that to think. ^_^;...She kept gushing on about how talented me and Kristen are to our father and he was just like "Uh huh," barely looking at her. I don't think I'm that talented at what I do. There are some things that I've been working at for a long time, and I guess it shows, but I hope she isn't riding her hopes too high on what she thinks we're capable of. I think that Kristen could sell her knitting at a fair without trouble but I on the other hand have a hard time finishing projects in a timely fashion. I don't want to disappoint my aunt. I've accepted by now that I'm not brilliant at what I do but I try my best to enjoy myself. It's taken me a long time to accept the fact that I'm no prodigy (as arrogant as it may sound, I've always wanted to be a genius!) and I'm uncomfortable with the idea of someone mistakenly thinking that I am one. ^^;..

There's a nice lily blooming in our side garden. I wanted to take a picture but there was a huge bee-creature clinging to one of the blossoms and I didn't want to drive it off and risk being stung. ^^
