I knitted a hat today.

And for a human being, no less.

It was my first hat and I used fuzzy purple yarn together with this weird ribbon yarn that's supposed to look like pussy willows. I wasn't 100 percent satisfied with it because it seems a little big to me (though I did check the gauge before I started) but what can I say, it was my first hat experience! XD

Now my hands hurt. ::blows on them::

Dad broke the coffee pot today. He was looking through the spice cabinet and he knocked a glass jar of cayenne pepper onto the carafe and it shattered. *_* I'm glad I wasn't there to see it! Last night he tripped a circuit breaker and we all went nuts trying to figure out which one to reset. A little drama in my household always escalates into major drama. Lots of yelling and finger-pointing. Phooey. :P

Maybe I'll paint that doll tomorrow night? I would do it tonight but I think I've had enough excitement. ^_^...
