leene_chan | I Finally Finished.

The scarf, that is. It was actually the second one I made because the first one didn't please me. This one I made from a pattern for a kind-of-skinny 60 inch scarf with fringe up the sides as well and on the top and bottom. As you might imagine, the fringe took me longer than the scarf! :O

I haven't had much time to work on my SH-09 head. ^o^ But because I'm a fickle creature I picked up my copy of the PSX Tales of Phantasia and started playing.

The graphics aren't great and the battle system is clunky but believe it or not I like this game. A lot. In fact, my fingers are twitching because it's been thundering all day and I haven't been able to play it! The graphics and battle system remind me so much of Tales of Destiny but for some reason the rest of the game works. Oh, I know why. They lowered the encounter rate in the PSX port. I remember that when I was playing TOD I would get attacked every three steps and it almost reduced me to tears!

Also, TOD sucked. Leon was the only character who had more than one side to his personality and they totally ruined everything!

Ahem. The characters in TOP are not that bad. Klarth has like, the most uke voice ever. I save all my money to buy him the best equipment. You gotta have a character in each game that you give preferential treatment! :D
