leene_chan | Is It Fall Yet?

September is usually pretty warm but isn't it supposed to be autumn in less than a day? Hurry up and get here, I hate hot weather!

I just realized I have six faceless dolls on my shelf that I need to paint. Six! Kristen only has one left and that's why I have to hurry up and finish the head I'm rooting for her. It's too bad that it's one of those big A-type heads. o_o

We made this weird rustic tomato sauce with pork and rosemary tonight and served it tossed with rigatoni and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. I picked out the recipe and even though I thought it was good I wonder what everyone else thought? O_O;....Sometimes you have to try something different, eh?

Now that I'm finished with Tales of Phantasia my heart is shriveling up and dying. =_=

Just kidding. ^o^ I picked of Tales of Eternia last night and have already clocked three hours.

This game is taking some time to get used to but I'm starting to fall into the swing of things. Even compared to TOP, the battle and field graphics are pretty bad. Everything looks small, the character sprites, the font...the amount of gald you win at the end of each battle... The towns, however, look quite nice and I love checking out inside of all the houses. Is that too weird? "The game was mediocre but the house designs were pretty so I still liked it?" It's not that I think that TOE is mediocre. I'm starting to like it a lot. I think everyone must have had a time in their childhood when they had a fantasy about finding a stranded alien, dressing it in their clothes and going on an adventure to learn about its origin. ^-^

Rid and Farah together remind me of Homer and Marge Simpson. I just got Keel in my party and I have to ask, is he crazy? He seems like a sociopath in training, Brainy Smurf about to go bad.

I do like Farah in spite of my expectations to the contrary. I have this vision of what would have happened in the game if she hadn't taken Meredy under her wing. Maybe in the next scene, we'd see Meredy walking around a random town with Quickie, trying to sell herself on the streets? O_o
