Stuff!

Heh heh heh...things have been happening. I don't know what to say about them, so let me just post a picture of Fuuka with the Zoukei-mura light orange eyes:

They're pretty nice, aren't they? They have a distinct brown cast to them, and even though they're orange I wouldn't call them a "fantasy" color. They're a watercolor shade of orange. Maybe if they were brighter I wouldn't like them so much. ^__^

Oh, and Anise came in. I'm not feeling up to messing with her parts right now, surprisingly enough. I've been playing with the printer/scanner/copier and I sewed an outfit for Miyako. There are a few little flaws in it, but nothing major. It's a lot easier to sew for SDs than 1/6 scale dolls, isn't it? Unfortunately, I can't find any snaps, so I can't finish the shirt right now. And I was sure I had some...::sigh::

Ooohh, Fuuka is definitely one of my favourite Rios. ^^; She's soo pretty! I love her delicate face-paint. ^^ I also love those light orange eyes! Been waiting for the ones I ordered to come in but Minako said that Volks will not have any glass eye refills for about a month. -_-; Oh well.

Yeah, those eyes took something ridiculous like 3 months. I also ordered 16mm eyes in blue green, and they both came in at the same time. ^^;;;

One month isn't that bad, considering ^___^. It's only 4 weeks, right? I think the light orange eyes might be harder to get in certain sizes, though. I find that the easiest ones to get are 20mm, for some reason. I'm guessing that the FCS dolls that have the optional heads take mostly 18mm, and those have a tendency to sell out pretty quickly. I think light orange is one of the most popular colors!

Yep, the two pairs came in on Friday ^_____^. I'm glad you like them, they took forever to come in!

As of now, we have 3 pairs of Zoukei-mura eyes. (red and light orange in 20mm and blue-green in 16mm) I wish they weren't so expensive! The detail in the irises is gorgeous. They're well worth the wait!

pretty!!!! *_____* Your super lucky to have those eyes!! I love the almost pinkish color they have! I wish I had gotten the light orange eyes in my fcs boy instead of the light green! Those, the thin green and the blue green are my faaaav Volks eyes! Fuuka looks great in them!! Shes my all time fav Rio!! *___* Congrats on getting a new SD!!! What doll is Anise? I wanna see lots and lots of pics of her!! :D

^o ^.....Anise is.....um....another mini SD Myu. ^o ^ Kristen ended up with two, and I wound up buying the second because my heart went out to her

I'm trying to make her look different by using exclusively 18mm eyes in her and cutting her default wig to shoulder-length (like that limited mini SD Sundy?) I'm trying to get her a soft curl wig in silver, though. I took quite a bit of care in making her face look different from Saffron's and Miyako's, but we don't have her together yet. I hope she'll be done by Monday!

In that picture, Fuuka's eyes look a little googly! ^_^ Did you notice that the pupils on Volks eyes aren't perfectly centered? I'm glad you like those eyes, I love them,too, even though they took almost 4 months to come in! Thanks for the compliments!

Oh, do you have your FCS boy yet? I can't wait to see him! I'm thinking of doing FCS for my birthday (in October) but I don't know when would be the best time to place the order. I'm pretty broke right now, but I don't want anything funny to happen!
