It felt kind of warm today. Are we having a thaw? The house is a mess with the unwrapped Christmas presents scattered all over the living room. I don't think I'm ready for this holiday!

I've been playing this game too much lately! I just met Natalia in her skank-tastic princess dress and I'm wondering when she'll join my party? I have to admit her voice isn't as annoying as Maria's in SO3. Is it pitched a little higher?

Van is starting to strike me as being cracked. But that's not much of a surprise, is it? Luke has such a crush on him I'm waiting for him to start humping his leg. 6_6

Coral(?) Castle was seriously creepy. Well done, Namco, putting a genuinely creepy dungeon in a Tales game! I didn't know you had it in you! Arietta is starting to get on my nerves and I'm glad I got to beat the crap out of her. When she yelled at Anise for taking Ion-sama away from her her voice totally broke! FAILURE! To have Jade strike her down with his glowing spear (because he forms his weapon out of thin air whenever he's about to hit someone, he does) would be like divine judgment. Why did they have to stop him again? I beat the Sword Dancer on the bottom floor after the boss battle and because Guy died everyone else went up to level 21 but him. =_=

I still think Dist is a hilarious character but he disturbs me. His look, his raspy gender-neutral voice and the way he flails around when people don't pay attention to him make him seem like nutty old lady. If people seriously like him (not as a gag character) and pair him off with Jade I think I'll barf. I don't know what will happen with him in the end but seriously, can you redeem a character like him?

And Sink...well...if he started chasing me I would be very frightened. Obviously there's some relationship between him and Ion because they both have the same hair color, weird voice and body type. Also, I noticed that Guy gave Ion a funny look after he had knocked off Sink's mask and managed to get a look at his face. Do I know what's going on between them? Yes! Am I going to pretend I don't? Sure!

And Guy's fear of women has become a pathology! He's obviously hiding a lot but I can't imagine what could have happened to him that would cause him to react so badly to Anise jumping on his back. Maybe he was kidnapped as a child by militant feminists and repeatedly molested? O_o Oh well, it'll be revealed in the end, right? Considering that Guy seems to know something about everything and always back-pedals when he's asked how he knows so much, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that he's one of the game programmers in disguise. ^^;...

I wonder if Anise will ever become more than a gag character? But of the party members I think that Tear is the least interesting. I'm not sure why.

TOA has a much different atmosphere from the other games in the series. It's kind of depressing (like FFVI compared to FFIV) but a good change of pace.
