It's been a while since I posted!

I painted a doll a few days ago but I don't know when I'll post a photo. She was my second attempt at the Obitsu #4 head and I had an easier time with her than the first time. I used a prerooted head (I bought one because I needed another plastic sleeve for hair-setting) and I wonder if the prerooted heads are smaller than the blank ones. For some reason, the prerooted head didn't seem as freakish to me.

Christmas was all right. I bought myself the complete set of Petshop of Horrors manga from jpqueen (at a discount!) and am halfway through Vol. 2. I remember watching the TV series late at night in 2000 when I had a sinus infection and couldn't sleep for two months. Ah, memories! Of the Japanese-language manga I've read Petshop of Horrors is actually pretty easy to understand (Hunter X Hunter being the hardest for me so far). It's written in the universal language of violence, which any fool could grasp, but the dialogue isn't too complicated either. ^o^

I haven't continued my "play diary" for a while because I've been too busy playing. ^o^ Luke just cut off his unflattering red locks and I have to say I'm happy to have him back in my party in body (rather than just in spirit in Asch's head) because I'm not a huge fan of Asch. Maybe he'll turn out to be an interesting character but he seems like a generic Final Fantasy grade bad-ass at this point. Luke gets on my nerves but I could still pity him. Maybe it's Asch's fake-y low voice and "gosh I wish I were Vegeta in Dragon Ball Z" battle quotes that bug me. ^o^;...

So now Anise hates Luke because of his disregard for Ion. Hmmm....

And Guy takes responsibility for Luke's bad personality because he's the one who raised him wrong! Well, that's what happens when kids raise kids....

I think it's weird that Natalia is so hung up on Asch because he's not any nicer than Luke! I guess to her that a guy who acts like a caveman is preferable to one who shrieks about people blaming him for a crime he helped commit. ^_^;...

Of course I'm still controlling Jade and he still kicks ass. The part where he went ballistic on Regret was priceless and makes me want to replay the game as soon as I finish it!
